Thumbs up N.O.S. vs. NX

Anyone ever done a test on the dyno or at the track for the different systems/jettings??

I was told NX is a true HP increase on a 200 shot and a N.O.S. is like a 160...

HP differences??

ET differences??

Thanks guys,
-Scooba

NITROUS EXPRESS IS A BETTER QUALITY KIT WITH MUCH BETTER FUEL DISTRIBUTION WITH THEIR SHARK NOZZLES. THAT IS WHY NOS DOESN'T EVEN MAKE WET KITS FOR YOUR CAR ANYMORE. YOU CAN SPRAY 300HP SHOT THROUGH A SHARK NOZZLE AND ONLY 90-150 THROUGH A NOS NOZZLE. BESIDES I HEARD THERE WAS A STOCK LT1 (AUTOMATIC CAR--WHITE IN COLOR) THAT CAN PROVE THIS POINT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

P.S. GET NX!!!

You know my answer. NOS=POS Been there done that. Never call them to ask for advice. They seem pretty clueless.

That will work I guess, but all your'e gonna see is my tail lights getting smaller and smaller as I leave you in the dust...BUDDY!!

Ya, NOS is pretty dumb, they told me I need to run 85 psi. and **** like that. I'm selling my kit and going NX, I'm tired of working on it every day.

Bryan...did you ever get your SS working right??

Nitrous Express is by far the more Tech friendly of the two. Holey turned NOS into a pile of crap.

StockLT1, Mind trimming that Signature down, 20 lines is only 4 times the 5 lines we try to have every one use.

I'm going to switch headers in a couple of weeks(won a set of SLPs on ebay the other day) chandge the water pump and change the plug wires and go from there. I could probably just change the wires and it would be runing right but like you said I'm picky. Your buddy's car sounds alot like mine except he has a converter. You can't get away from those stock white NXed Lt1 autos can you.

I've heard that NOS rates hp to the motor, and NX rates to the wheels, so NOS isnt' letting anyone down , they are just rating it differently, so with NX you're actually just running more juice.

I'd like to hear about lt1lt1's car. What kind of times does he run. Is the throttlebody worth it at this level. Just curios is he 175 shot on a stock bottom end? I'm just full of quesions aint I.

Lightbulb

I HAVE A BONE STOCK LONG BLOCK (NEVER HAD THE VALVE COVERS OFF)150 NX SHOT, LOTS OF OTHER BOLT-ON'S HOWEVER. I DO HAVE A 52MM THROTTLE BODY WITH AIR FOIL BUT DO NOT THINK IT IS NECCESARY ON STOCK MOTOR (AIR FOIL DOES HELP STAIGHTEN NITROUS FOG). LOTS OF $ IN THE SUSPENSION. RUN'S 11.60S ON RADIALS AT 118MPH. NOT THE QUICKEST, BUT A GOOD RUNNING FACTORY LONGBLOCK! I'M ORIGANALLY FROM OKC SO I WILL HAVE TO COME UP WITH STEVE SOME TIME TO MEET YA!

P.S. Thats not somthing I would be bragging about.....I'll put the convertible down just like I did your hatchback (white fords aren't fast, only white LT1's) Last time I checked, wasn't the convertible broke??>>typical ford...
