I run that box on my setup with a 6A. It's a great setup for nitrous, you can even have it retard the timing when you press the button so that you dont lose any ET on your 60' if you arent spraying out of the hole (big problem I was having pulling 4* of timing and not spraying out of the hole).

As for the OBD2, I have no clue. I am running a gen 1 carbed motor so I don't have to deal with it.

My roomate has one for his 69, but he hasn't used it yet. It will work with your setup. It does get down the the point of cost; by the time you buy just a 6A like you have + this box, you could have gotten a Digital 6+ for the same money, and had all the same things + dual rev limiters in one unit, and you don't have to deal with pills.

Or do what I did....sold off my Digital 6+ and MSD window switch, and bought a Mallory Hyfire VI for LESS money than just my Digital 6 alone. Has everything the Digi 6 has PLUS a built in window switch, ability to retards timing for boost if you have the proper add-on (useless for me currently), regular abilty to retard timing like the MSD, and everything is changed though a LED display....looks really cool too. IMO the best bang for the buck box out there, and really does it all. If you sold your 6A for $120 and tossed in the other $120 you spent on the retard box, that would pay for the Mallory Hyfire VI.

The Mallory 685 does everything you need for N2O.
Look at

170 and Summit price matches.
Great box, even get the MSD harness and splice into it for a complete plug and play.

Yes....and MUCH MUCH more (with more voltage while using less current than the 6A box; same goes for the Digital 6). And it retards for nitrous, and has a built in window switch.
