MSD required?

Hey guys,

I still have a bad break up problem with my 100hp Compucar kit. I've got colder plugs gapped at 35 and the car runs great on motor (340rwhp)

Compucar says that a MSD box is required. What do you guys think?

Yeah you do nee an mSD box or similar to burn the extra fuel and n2o. I had that same prob a couple years ago with my dry kit. I added an msd box and cured the prob. We have a similar setup Good luck

Okay,

I bought a Crane HI-6 box today and got a free coil with it!

I'm impressed with the box so far. I found it better than the MSD by these ways

1. Low price (I paid $160 for it with a coil new)
2. Rev Limitor
3. Stage Limit
4. Boost retard capable with a 2 bar map sensor (no outside controller needed unless you want a rev limitor too)
5. Digital and roboticly built
6. It says more spark than MSD
7. ALOT smaller than a MSD so its alot easier to mount
8. Good warrenty.
9. Single stage spark retard
10. it took TEN minutes to install!

Like I said, It out performs the 6AL with just the basic features. I'm unsure as to why people haven't given them more of a chance.

I've yet to try it on the spray because its raining here. It does seem different already and I haven't even got the coil on the car yet.
