Manually sprays after hitting 2nd?

Okay I plan on spraying my 355 LT1 next season.

I have a NX Wet kit. Im gonna start low like 50 shot and work to whatever is need to get me an 11.8 or soo .

Okay so I dont know what I wanna do for my window switch.

I want a mallory 685 BUT dont feel like spending 350 bucks (CDN ) on it right now bc of the following.

I just put a Moser 12 bolt in 2,000 bucks
Autometer gauges and a wideband theres 1200 bucks
And I need to put a new oil pump and gear in (300ish)
AND to top it of im gonna get my built tranny rebuilt

So lol

Can I get like a MSD digi or event eh SUMMIT digi Window switch and just turn the N20 on when secon bangs? (WOT switch) and I have a purge kit.

So I was thinking stage and purge then shut it off.....launch then switch it on as soon as second gear bangs?

Who knows I will probably get the damn mallory tho :P

You dont need to turn it on to purge and or stage. You can hit the arming switch after first if you can handle it. Now sure how much you have to do between the 1-2 shift being an auto. There are some box's that have a first gear lockout feature which wont spray in first when activated but will in 2-4.
Heres one that i found on a quick search... http://www.bmnracetech.com/products.html
One thing that you want to be conscious of is your timing. Depending on what its set at now you may need to pull a few degrees varying on how much you end up spraying. Which in that case the Mallory may be your best bet.

Last year I was using the arming switch to spray seems to work good but there is no consistency in passes down the track. So I got a used 685 box for this year it has some really neat features.

That's nice, but the Mallory 685 is still hard to beat.

IMO thats not really a good thing. Your cars not running at its potential NA due to being tuned for spray and not spraying. Id get that tuned for NA use and just bite the bullet and get the mallory.
