..will manley H beam connecting rods hold a 2 stage 300 shot of nitrous? the rods are the only thing i cant seem to make my mind up on.

this is going in a 355 with ross nitrous pistons and i havent decided the crank but mostlikely Lunati..just wondering if those are worth using.

 

Im no expert, but Id say that depends on your other mods. what cam/heads? whats the rpm range your looking at? seems that you cant go wrong w/those rods though IMO. maybe even overkill, but thats a good thing if your thinkin of throwing that much spray at it.

on another note, if you decide thoser are more then you need, I have a brand new set of eagle 4340 Hbeam rods for sale. same 5.7" rods, but they are lighter at 620 grams ea.. only $330 shipped. email if interested.

going with a callies 3.750 crank(when i find it) and afr 210cc's

 

What RPM range will you be in? RPM's typically kill rods/rod bolts faster than compressive loads ie; nitrous or forced induction.

Call Manley if you're in question. I think you'll be surprised at how much more hp they'll rate them at with a lower RPM.

I've heard of Manley H-beams taking a tremendous amount of abuse without failing.

Callies is a fine choice for the crank also.

yeah well i wanna stay below 7k for that reason..i figured from 3500-6700 the first 150 would kick in.then from maybe 4800(somewhere round there)-6800 the second 150 would kick in then shift around 7.
