Is this the correct harness to hook up a Mallory 685 box to my 96 TA?

That is the exact same one I used for my 95 Z. Worked like a charm.

That is the same one I will be getting for my nitrous kit. What kind of kit are you going with? I am going to be using a Harris Speed Works wet.

Both the harness and box you have links to are correct for your application.

That's the box you want. I love mine. Easy adjustability and works like a charm.

Mine is in the glove box but I only have it connected for nitrous. Otherwise I use the harness Bypass Connector pigtail. In other words it is off (and cold) and out of the circuit most of the time. Once I read that these CDI spark intensifiers affect the life of the opti-spark I decided to have mine connected only when I need the spark control features. I even put a light in my control panel to tell me when I'm hooked up.

How did you do that? That may be an idea for me since my car is my daily. Maybe I can wire the power wire into my arming switch, so when I arm the nitrous, my box turns on?

The Mallory 685 comes with a bypass connector. If you ever want to go back to stock, all you have to do is plug it in. Smart people over there at Mallory.

I routed my box all the way in the trunk, it keeps plenty cool back there and keeps the free space available in my glovebox.

my box is mounted right where the CAI goes since i have teh Ram Air

its pretty cool position i think and it keeps most the wires short.

which reminds me i have to clean up some of the wires , for a cleaner looking install
