I have read your other post on this subject as well. And I just wanted to say that I have been progressivey spraying my 12.5:1 compression 383 LT1 with a 200 shot all summer now. I had this motor built for nitrous with Mahle pistons. When the motor was built I told the shop that I was going to hit with a 150 shot. But when it was done I asked the guy if 200 would be to much and he told me that he would do it with out even thinking. The engin builder that did my botom end is a friend of the family and has owned his own performance engine shop for the past 30 years so I trust him. I think that the most crittical thing is to gap them for the spray. I am thinking that I might even spray more 250-300.

yes I have been progressively spraying my 200 shot. I kick it in around 3500 rpm in second gear and build the nitrous pretty fast to 100% which is the 200 shot. My only problem is traction not the pistons. I think that Mahle makes a great piston that has not really caught on in the US yet. I also am running VP racing fuel because of my compression and I am sure that helps protect the pistons from detination while spraying.
