LT1 window switch tach signal problem

Can i wire my window switch to the white "tach wire" off the back of the pcm? The directions say to use the coil negative, but i would rather use the pcm.

are the voltages the same between the pcm's tach signal and the coil negative signal?

Yes, you can use that. That is how I wired mine. We tried wiring it off the coil and couldnt get it to work. Used the PCM wire and works perfect.
