Just curious, what size shot would you recommend?

350 block, 4 bolt mains, new nodular iron GM crank, new GM powdered metal rods (LT1 rods), 4 valve relief dished hyp. pistons. What kind of shot would you guys run on this motor with a good tune? Its my 350HO crate engine. Currently I run anywhere from 12.6's to 12.7's at 107-108.9 mph. I will be ordering the nitrous express hitman kit very soon with a dedicated fuel system for the fuel solenoid.
A little more info on the setup:
MSD 6A ignition, MSD Pro Billet Distributor, MSD Blaster 2 coil, Edelbrock Super Victor single plane intake for vortec heads, Demon 650 mech secondary carb, ported/polished vortec heads and an XE274 cam (110 LSA). The motor is fed by a 110 GPH holley Strip mechanical fuel pump, the fuel solenoid will be fed by a 1 gallon Jaz nitrous enrichment fuel cell and a holley blue fuel pump.
Anyway, how big a shot would you guys run and what kind of ET/MPH difference will I see?

Thanks guys,

Seth

I would stick to a 200 shot or less a friend of mine has had durability problems with the powdered rods , seems they dont hold up to shots over 250 HP he broke two, in to three and five pieces on a 250 shot destroying his block and heads we still dont know the exact cause but just a heads up it was also a 350 crate and only had thirty runs on it 20 without N20!

Wow, I wasnt thinking anything near a 250 shot. You realize these rods are only "rated" to 425 horsepower
