jetted nx fogger wrong, 52 nitrous and 52 fuel

i don;t know how the hell i messed it up, but let me tell u, don;t change jets at night with a flashlight when your in a rush. I went thru 2 bottles like this, i wanted 100shot but i got a 150shot with like twice the fuel i needed for it, damn. No wonder my car was surging when the FPSS was cuttin off the system, and i was backfiring like hell. Anyone else ever jet there fogger wrong, boy i feel dumb..........

i think you meant to say,"twice the NITROUS that you needed".

but yea, thats a good way to blow somthing up. if you remember nothing else, ALWAYS remember the N2O jets are smaller than the FUEL jets. cant remeber exactly, but i think the 100 is 52/63 and the 150 is 67/71. but the FUEL is always more than the N2O!

be glad you motor is still in one piece!

dude, i hope your wrong, because i have the NX jet chart in front of me, and if they gave me wrong jeting's i'll raise hell. For the 100 shot, they say to use a 52 nitrous jet and a 33 fuel jet, and for a 150 shot use a 62 nitrous and a 35 fuel. Can anyone back me up that these are indeed the correct jettings??? THanks

Actually now that i look at it, since i had two 52 jets in i just had a super rich 100 shot, like u guys say, better rich then lean!! And remember, triple check your jets.............

well, i thought that most companies used the same scale, but its possible there different. i KNOW my chart for the edlebrock i got said 5x nitrous/ 6x fuel. the 150s i had to get from NOS and im POSSITIVE the jetting is 6x nitrous/ 71 fuel. im 100% on that.

like i said, i guess its possible they all use a different chart??

FWIT, 33 sounds pretty small though. more like jetting for a 50-75 shot

62N 35F are correct for the 150 shot. That's what jets I run.

yes, i was reading a carb'd chart. i found this out a few days ago. turns out ive been been running carb'd jets the whole time. which means, ive been running VERY VERY rich. the tech i called at NOS said he was suprised it even ran. thus the quote in my sig now

anyhoo, these are the jet settings he gave me for the EFI nozzle im using- 50 shot 37N/22F, 100 shot 47N/30F, 150 shot 61N/33F.

that sounds a little better

now we need to see what this thing will do with a REAL 100/150 shot
