Jacobs Nitrous Mastermind install help
Ok, I attempted to install my Jacobs Nitrous Mastermind today, and I know there's a couple people using them here. I bought it off e-bay, and it's never been used, but the instructions are a little vague and not very specific for wiring to an LT1. I have no idea what I did wrong, but I pretty much screwed it up. When I thought I was done, the car wouldn't start, and I have no use of the spray, neither solenoids are working. Those of you that have them, can you show me how you have everything wired up? A little about my system...I have a toggle in the ashtray, and a microswitch on the throttle body. I also have a Hobbs switch.
Right now, I have the red/white from the NMM going to the fuel sol. I have the blue from the NMM going to the N2O sol. I have the white from the NMM going to the wire from my toggle. The brown wire from the NMM is going to the Hobbs, and the Hobbs is grounded at a known good ground. The other two leads from my sols are going to the throttle body switch. What did I do wrong?
Now for the ignition part of it...I have the Accel 300+ ignition. I found what I thought to be the signal input wire to the 300+ (white wire). I cut it, and on the coil side I spliced the green wire, and on the other side I spliced the yellow. The car wouldn't start. I cut the wires and put the white back together, and the car starts. Obviosly, I had the wrong wire, or did soething wrong. I was told it was a white wire to cut into though. Can anybody give me a hand? Thanks.
EDIT- BTW, my unit powers up ok, and the "nitrous armed" light comes on with the toggle, but no "nitrous flowing" light when full throttle.

I was just thinking about it...I guess it's very possible I have the solenoids wired correctly, but the NMM isn't getting a signal from the ignition to activate them. So, I guees I need to get the ignition part figured out before I can do anything with the solenoids.

Yeah, I tried a few months ago several times when I was originally planning to install it. They never responded to my e-mails. Now, I'm not sure if they can help me or not, because they probably have no idea what is what as for wiring on a Accel ignition. I will try Monday if I don't have it figured out by then though. I was too busy today.
You might try one of these diagrams for help:

Their product is great! I've used many products made by Jacobs but you are correct about their tech line.... it is very difficult to contact them, emails are difficult, and spare parts are also tough (1 spark plug wire). I do know that they were recently purchased by another company (4-6 months ago)... I'm sure they are still going through changes. Takes time to align business transactions.
