hows this sound.....

Ok so i was thinking dual stage nx MAF system 75 on the first stage 200-250 on the second. So far i have forged bottom 355, ported polised stage 2 heads, cc306, 12bolt rear, MSD digital ignition retard, and im getting a MSD digital 6 ignition. Is this gonna be safe to run the 250 shot on, or should i go with something a little smaller maybe 175. I wanna run pump gas (93 octane) or 100octane if i know ill be spraying alot that night.

A bit unclear, but sounds like you want to run a total of 200-250 horses once both stages are activated.

If not then you are describing a 275-325 total shots.

Either way I don't believe you are going to have much success with 93 pump gas and those levels of nitrous. 306+heads and a 200 shot needs race gas. AMHIK

Definetly start out with a dual stage 175-200(this would be the total for when both stages are activated) and work your way up from there.

If you've never sprayed before, I'd start small and work your way up. There's quite a bit to learn before you go shooting 250 at it, or at least there is if you want the motor to live.

I'd watch shooting that big of a shot through the MAF. I've heard of people freezing the MAF before if you're running a big dry shot.

The kit actually replaces the maf ends with new ones that the nitrous sprays out of holes drilled all around it. I want to run a total 250 shot and i would be only spraying 100-125 till i got used to everything. i just wanted to know if this was possible on pump gas and if the setup could handle it. If not what would your opinion of the most i could run on pump gas?

How much you can run on pump gas differs on each setup. I know a guy locally who shoots 200 at a stock bottom end through a fogger and it works for him, but he pulls the plugs after every run to check for detonation. I can't remember if he runs pump or higher though. You can probably shoot 250, but I'd work up in 25-50 HP increments so you can experiment with how much timing needs to be pulled and how cold of a plug you need to run.
