How much nitrous can she handle?

I know, there is no set numbers, but I am just curious.

The motor has the following:

Eagle forged 3.75 crank
Eagle forged H-beam rods with L19 rod bolts
Forged JE/SRP -16cc dish pistons
Pro-Gram 4 bolt splayed caps with ARP studs
Clevite 77H bearings
JE ring kit

Compression is roughly 11.4:1
Cam is GM 847ish, but more aggressive ramps.

What would be feasible both on 93 and race gas?

Thanks,
Chris

A LOT!

You've got the basics down, you could easily do a 200+ shot without worrying on race gas.

Heh, I like that answer!

I am thinking that it might be nice to go with a wet kit and just have a fuel cell with race gas in it for the nitrous, is that a reasonable idea? I am not sure if wet kits are considered safe or reliable at that level, so if anyone has good links on stuff like that let me know.

Thanks,
Chris

Wet is safer compared to dry, but more expensive. You'll just have to do all of the regular safety stuff like fuel pump, colder plugs, retard timing, etc.

Might wanna look into direct port if you want to spray big.

The main problem with direct port is that its not easy to tune. I also want to keep it very stealthy, so direct port would have to go under the manifold. I wouldn't have a problem plumbing it, but the continual removal and installation would cost a fortune in gaskets alone!

The srp piston is a street version of the JE pistons.I beleave they are rated up to a 250 shot.I could be wrong but im pretty sure.
