How much Nitrous?

Well I am about to rebuild and I wanna run Nitrous on my new setup which is gonna be as follows: 355 LT1, Forged Rebuild kit including Forged Crank and rods, 58mm Throttle Body, Mallory 685, LE2 Heads and Cam, 1.6 Pro Mag Roller Rockers, Comp Cam beehive valve springs, Hardened Pushrods, Morosso CAI, 36LB injectors, Long tube headers, Offroad 3 inch Y pipe, No cats, No muffler, PCM tune from Madz28.

I'm still not sure on the crank yet because I dunno if I will have enough money so how bout with and without.

How much Nitrous can I run on a wet setup? I plan on using a WOT, and an Rpm switch for added safety. What should I do about a Fuel Pump and anything else I might need. I was thinking of running like a 250 shot. What is your opinion on this subject. Thanks.

I would suggest not going over a 200 shot on a stock style intake manifold if you are not going direct port. Using a plate/nozzle setup you might run into distribution issues above that point. Now if you use a direct port the limiting factor will be the piston construction and ring gap. Talk to your builder and make sure he knows you are wanting to run 250-300hp worth of nitrous and he can make sure you have what you need.

I would reccomend a forged crank if you are wanting to spray that amount of nitrous. If you are having to replace the crank you might as well build a 383-396 as the only extra expense will be clearencing the block. (mine was approx $100)
