how to activate the 2nd stage
ok i am going to use 2 kits. 1 is 125 dry 2nd is 175 wet. the dry kit is going to be used the entire run while i want the wet shot to hit in 2nd gear. i am using a window switch for the dry kit with a TPS switch. how can i wire the second kit to know to come on in 2nd gear . i know i can add another window switch for the rpm area i want it to hit in but the 2nd gear issue has me wondering how to approch it. i havent messed with to many kits in the past so be easy on my @ss . thanks guys

Re: how to activate the 2nd stage
hey has anyone tried this or is this just retarted. what voltage does our speed sensor run at? does it increase like the TPS ? would it be possiable to hook up a TPS switch into the speed sensor ( the adjustable one from zex i guess) to turn the system on when a ceratin speed was reached . with that speed i am guessing that the speed sensor has a certain voltage it will be putting out as a signal to the computer. does that make sense to anyone? hit the desired speed in 2nd gear (cant reach it in first by accident) system arms and starts spraying. now here is the issue i found in that idea , when in the hell willthe system stop spraying ? it would ,i take it, keep spraying in between shifts (i am a manual gear box guy) . could this issue be sloved with a micro switch to send the signal to the TPS switch to cut it off between shifts and at the end of the run. arm the micro switch with a toggle switch i guess. ok either fix this idea or shoot it all to hell. i really dont like the idea of a timing box to control the second stage.

Re: how to activate the 2nd stage
basic..most wondow switches have it as an option...thats what i would do, spray the big stage first though...150...then 2nd gear comes on with a 100 shot...but you can do it with any amounts...mayb on the second stage have it come on after 3500 to protect the motor. how built is this motor if your spraying 300???
