Exclamation Help from people with TNT bottle warmer

I need to know which wire going into the heater is positve and which is negative. I cut the cigrette lighter input off the end, and my marks on the wire came off when I ran it under the carpet, so I dont know which wire is pos. and which is neg. Thanks!

do you have an orange wire? on my on my nos heater off the relay its orange and off the heater it doesnt matter which one as long as one goes to the blue on the relay and the other ground. i hope that helps if its the same.

No relay installed yet. I cut the cigar lighter plug in, off the end of the wires so I could hard wire it to the car and run the wire under the carpet. My marks came off the wire so now I dont know which wire going into the heater is ground and which is positive.

so your trying to figure out which wire off the cigar lighter is positive if you have a test light will work to detect power wire if not do it the hard way touch one of the wire's off the cigar wire to grounfd if it sparks thats your power if not thats your ground make sure you put a switch though . hopefully you wont blow the fuse, either way good luck.
