Currently im running an NX 100 shot and am looking to bump it to 150. What all do I need to do besides a new fuel pump (255lph) and reset the timing??

and actually, how do you retard the timing??

 

There is really nothing to due for the 150 shot, beside add the jets in the nozzle Many people on this board run 150 on a stock LT1 motor with doing nothing to the fuel or timing. If your worry about timing MSD makes a timing retard device.

 

so I could probably get away with it running a 92 octane pump gas mix with unleaded race fuel then hey?

 

Yes you can. I use 91 out here in the west. I go to the track almost empty add about 3 gallons of race gas.

Please let me know how it goes for you, I'm currently running an nx 100 shot as well, and am interested in bumping up to 150. I have an electric fp gauge and so far it doesn't drop off at all at 100, and I also have a/f ratio guages and its running rich all through the rpm range so I guess it should be fairly safe????....
