FP gauge on stand alone?

I am putting the finishing touches on my stand alone fuel system for my direct port and havnt installed a FP gauge anywhere on it. If I flow it before every race is there a need for a mounted gauge? It is allready cluttered up enough as it is with the LTCC kit and direct port kit under the hood. BTW I have a FP safty switch installed on the regulator so it will kill the system if there is something wrong.
Just wondering

Thanks
Clint

I use the fuel pressure gauge as a trouble shooting tool and monitor it when the fuel system is under load to see if the fuel system can keep up (not loose pressure). Therefore mine is in the cockpit. Locating it under the hood isn't going to facilitate monitoring under load.

Well I have a fp gauge for my motors fuel system in my car but nothing for the stand alone kit. Wouldnt flowing the system tell me if the noids are getting the right amount of fuel under load or do I still need a gauge for that?
