Has anyone had any experience installing this or something relatively similar in a 78-81 camaro. I'm getting this kit for my 79 350 and am thinking of installing it myself.
The shop wants 450 CDN to install it LABOUR.
Thats almost the price of the kit.
Too expensive for me thank you.
They said it'll take them 6 HRS to install???correct?

 

why not try it yourself first. then if you cant do it take it to them. remember, if all else fails, read the instructions

 

Search the web for install instructions.

It is not hard as long as you have the proper tools and skills.

6 hours is plenty of time unless your doing some custom mods.
