dual stage?

whats up? I was wondering about dual nitrous bottles. My first question is im looking to buy a N2o setup that is 250-300 shot, I want a dual bottle set-up but I dont know if it would be easier to go woth a dual stage set-up or just have the second bottle for looks only? If I could do a dual stage set-up with two bottles how would I do it? Im looking at tnt kits( I dont want NOS) and i want to mount the bottle(s) on the trunk.(not in, or in the backseat area) Thanks for any help provided.

Re: dual stage?

Use each bottle for each stage. So bottle 1 goes to the first stage bottle 2 goes to the second.

Re: dual stage?

You could use a progressive controller to have progressive dual stage system, or you could just do a single progressive shot. If you want to do dual stages you'll basically need another nitrous kit along with a delay timer or a second window switch to controll the second stage.

Re: dual stage?

I run a similar setup to what you are asking about. I chose to go with dual window switches. I put this system together before many of the digital nitrous controlers hit the market. Many of the current controlers can work with two systems. They can even be progressive for both stages.

But an easy way to look at it, would be to run two completely independant n20 systems. The only thing they might share would be a TPS sensor or fuel safety switch. You would need heaters, window switches, buttons and relays for each. The wiring gets fairly complicated when you try to make them work independantly and together.
