Dual bottle ?? with a single stage

I'm thinking about adding a second bottle to reduce the pressure drop while shooting a 150-175 of nitrous.

My question is, if both bottles were heated to 1000 psi each using a water tank, then mount the bottles in the car using two 12" lines into a y fitting, then into a single 17' line to the nitrous soleniod. Would that make the total 2000 psi? Assume I could fatten up the fuel side. Would the NX nitrous solenoid fail to open because of the pressure?

Thanks,

Jody J.

No, you'd still have 1000psi. It just wouldn't drop as fast as with one bottle.

That's what I needed to know.

Thanks, Dave

2x the volume, same pressure ..

volume and pressure are 2 separate issues...

say one of ur bottles was at 1000 psi .. and the other one was at 0 .. both would level each other off at 500 psi as half of the gas from one would go in the other till both sides of the y connection are at the same pressure (with a closed solenoid)
