Dry kit users... Nozzle mounting question inside....

Is there any performance change mounting your nozzle closer to the TB cars vs. around the 90deg. bend of the elbow on LT1 cars? I had my nozzle mounted right in front of the TB in the bottom side of the rubber duct but then moved it to my MAF (TB side of the MAF). I tapped out the MAF and screwed in the nozzle. I never got a chance to spray when it was mounted in the elbow though. I moved it before I sprayed for the first time. Seemed to run like a champ mounted in the MAF and spraying around the corner. No hesitations or anything. Just curious if mounting the nozzle closer to the TB or in it will be a power benifit or if i'm fine where im at. Thanks.
