Direct Port on stock LT4

How much can a Stock '96 LT4 handle nitrous wise via a directport setup. 200? more ...less Ignition is Delteq , Fuel Pump is Walbro w/ Hotwire kit. No other mods aside from 1 5/8 headers and TSP Rumbler. PS Engine not still in a Vette.

I still would not reccomend going over 150 on a stock motor

Can you run a 150shot with a direct port?

You definitely can run that size shot or higher with a direct port setup, but as mentioned above, for the mechanical safety of your motor, it is not a good idea to get too carried away with the jetting.

To what extent would things have to change to run say a 200+ shot.

Yea, and running smaller shots (under 175-200) on a High Fuel Pressure EFI direct port set-up ....just gives you a nitrous system with a bunch of "little" fuel orifaces prone to obstruction....Low fuel pressure "Carbed" direct port systems don't have these issues when running small direct port shots cause of their larger fuel jetting for their lower fuel pressures ....but I've seen more than a few EFI direct port shots running small(under 200 shots) end up with blockage issues(even with the best filtering)......IMO, I wouldn't run a direct port "High Fuel Pressure" EFI nitrous system untill the distribution limitations of a single fogger(running a large shot) were to be exceeded.....Just No benifits to be had by going direct port on small shots(just possible issues)......Just my two cents
