difference between ford and chevy universal nx kits

hey does anyone know what the difference between a universal nx kit for a ford and a nx kit for a chevy? im buying a kit from a friend that had it on his mustang and want to put it on my camaro, do i need anything to put it on the camaro or should it mostly be the same?

I think everything will be the same except for how the fuel source is tapped. On the GM cars, you can just run a -4AN hose directly onto the Schraeder valve and then run that line to a 3/8-4AN conversion fitting off of the fuel solenoid.

well i just picked up the kit, im assuming you have to take the shrader valve core out to put the line on? if so can you use a valve core remover for a tire for it?

Yes. Thin needle nose pliers work too.

Yeah, I had one of those tire core removal tools handy. It did the trick right away.
