Creative Mounting of your bottle

I keep going back and forth on nitrous, one week i want it the other i don't. My biggest concern is hacking up the car. I wan't to be able to install it and remove it later without having holes all over the place (when i go all motor). So i need some creative ways to mount the bottle and blown down tube without cutting holes in my car.

Could i make a custom like cradle for it? kindof like a subwoofer box. But then the box would have to be mounted to the floor, incase of a roll-over. I need some creative ideas to use existing holes or mounting surfaces to use to mount the bottle.

OR you could just mount it somewhere where you'll never see it...ie:

1) In the spare tire area.
2) At the bottom of the trunk/hatch area.

I would like to mount it in the spare tire compartment, but don't know how the angle of the bottle will come out. Isn't there suppose to be a certian angle of the bottle to make sure you get good flow?

Re: Creative Mounting of your bottle

these two pictures are where i got the idea to make my mount. i found after the first attempt that the single bolt on the fender side was not enough, so i redesigned it with 2 bolt sections on the fender side. i did have to open the 2 holes up a little bit to get the bolts through, but its not like you will ever use these holes again, or were ever used stock.

Picture 1 Fixed
Pitcure 2 Fixed

Sorry about that, got the address from the wrong part

That is a great idea. Use that braket that holds the spare tire in. I think i will do it now that i have a place to mount it. Once i get the money

Is 100shot safe on 125,000 motor? Are you guys hitting it all at once or are you using progressive controllers to ease into it? Any other slick things you need to run 100 shot?

i use a progressive, but 100 shot with a window switch and a FPSS should be cool as long as your motor is in good condition. you might want to start at a 100 shot just to see how things go. after you have made sure with a few runs that the car will take it bump it to the 100. it never hurts to test with lower settings.

Re: Creative Mounting of your bottle

Since I have 6 point I put mine where the rear passanger seat bottom was. There are 2 holes to add a bracket or plate to mount. Than put the bottle brackets on the pale mount bottle. Run line under the carpet and out the groumet by the pcm. With a ten pound bottle you can move the passanger seat all the way back you just cant fully recline it. The best part is you can open the bottle any time. I will post pics saturday.
