Couple nitrous questions here
Couple nitrous questions here
What rpms should I set my window switch at for nitrous? 3-6k? I know you dont want to go lower but can you go higher?
Is 018 and 020 ring gap sufficient for a 200 shot? Should I stay lower shot for awhile and see if they will open up any? Or will it be fine?
Also, what is the max total rwhp that the stock pump can support?
Thanks guys!

pressure was down in the 28psi range at WOT...
on100 shot pressure went down into low 20'shigh teens...
with the 255lph in-tank for 135 bucks....solid 41psi on 150 shot..
I ran the times below on a home made low pressure dry kit with the stock pump. I didn't monitor fuel pressure, but I'm sure it was down. The o2s were dropping off at the big end. And, the plugs showed it. Looks like 437 rwhp is my limit.
I know a lot of guys like the window switch, I don't. I also don't have the 4L60E to protect anymore during the shift (guessing that's your upper limit criteria). Unbelievable difference in power application between the two transmissions by the way.
And, finally there is some supporting documentation just starting to show up if you look for it, for spraying off the line at full throttle. It goes a little like this: as long as the engine is allowed to rev it is ok. This is opposed to lugging the car in high gear and doping it up. That is not recomended. Fastest Street Car Racers have been spraying out of the hole for over a decade.
I laid down a 1.55 sixty footer junkin' it with the tree.
As far a recomemded ring gap, that is academic.
