Could i do this?
I'm about to install a NX wet kit, and need to change the fuel pump. Instead of buying the racetronix fuel kit for $260, can i just buy a walbro fuel pump and buy the hot wire kit (which they say is necessary) separate and it would work exactly like a racetronix kit (plug and play) without any modifications??

No, it won't work like the Racetronix kit. You will have to modify the factory fuel pump bucket for the pump. When doing so you'll loose the factory venturi system that keeps fuel in the bucket. Instead you'll have to punch holes in the bottom of the bucket. Both ways will work, but if you want a plug and play system that keeps the factory fuel system intact go with the Racetronix kit. If you already have the walboro the hot wire kit will be fine.But if you have neither I would just go ahead and buy the race tronix kit.WE sell them for 249.00.
