Talking Cheap Zex......

I was wondering where the cheapest place to get the Zex Dry kit is. I saw it on JCwhitney for $519.95 , is that the cheapest? Does that kit come with everything? Thanks.

Yes, J C Whitney. Right now they are giving 15% off that price. $519.99 less 15% = $441.99 + shipping. Can't find it any cheaper. Got mine there last month.

Good luck.

Does the ZEX dry kit spray before the MAF or after?

Does JCwhitney's kit come with the inline fuel pump booster or pump like the kit sold at other places like thunderracing.com wtc?

Yes, It comes complete with a Walbro in-line fuel pump. Nothing else to buy other than a purge kit if you want.

untill the ls1 came out, just about every dry kit was after the MAF. they send a vacuum signal to the FPR to raise pressure for fuel enrichment. seems to have worked for years before the ls1 spray through maf setup.

not something i would ever use unless it was with dfi.

Some people say the same thing about wet kits on LT1's. I seen one catch on fire and the whole car was destroyed at the track cause it puddled up in his intake. With me hacing new injectors and a better fuel pump. A fuel pressure safety switch etc. Many people have run 100+ bottles dry. Not as bad as everyone puts it out to be. Its just so easy to mess up if someone just sprays and doesnt pay attention to the fuel needs.
