CC503@114 or CC503@112 when spraying

What gains will I see in going with a CC503 @ 114 lsa over a CC503 @ 112 lsa when spraying a 150 - 200 shot? The car is going to be more strip than street.
It is time to buy the cam for my rebuild and I have to make every $ count.
Steve

I have always heard the higher the ls1, the more power u will make while spraying.

If your spraying under say...uh 200 shot then either would work fine. I would run it on a 112 LSA, the difference would be negligable between the 2 on spray and the 112 will be better N/A.

Nitrous isn't as picky as boost, but the bigger the gap the more spray you are waisting. That being said have never seen any motor that didn't respond decently to n2o.

Unless you are building a bracket car or something, I say get the cam you want to drive. If you loose a little bit to the wheels then just step the jets up another size.

The LSA on my cam is 106 and it is currently picking up about a second on a 175 shot. N/A the car will do 11.30's - 11.40's, so far it has gone 10.40's spinning the tires. I don't think you would notice much difference.

The LSA difference (like others have mentioned) isn't as big a deal as some make it out to be (especially spraying under a 250 shot)......My stock 116 LSA cam picked up roughly the same amount on the bottle as my 108 Cam does now......I can't even tell ya how many "supposed" cam guru's told me that the cam I have now wouldn't even pick up much at all on the bottle....pumping losses LOL......so under a 250 shot, Just get the best NA cam for the cars combo....it'll still scream on the bottle.........Joe
