Post car falls on its face in 3rd on the spray....help!!!!!

94 z heads,cam,forged pistions gss340 walbro 255
125 shot first and second pull hard then at 3rd car falls on its face i checked all fittings and did a test shot with both fittings off to make sure it was spraying both fuel and nos and used a differant bottle
the only thing i can think of is that the cpu
in the car is reading to lean through the o2sensor and dumping a ton of fuel ?
now i do have tr55 in the car ...wtf i did it last year the whole summer and no prob
the only thing differant this year is a ported intake to match the heads ,,,maybe pulling vaccume up top with stock throttle body?????????

any help
thank you jeff

Have you checked to make sure your fuel pressure is not dropping?

You don't have enough fuel.

Had the same problem last weekend, but in all gears. No cause found yet. Going to change plugs (even though they looked fine) and check nitrous filter. Fuel pressure was good. N2O pressure was also good. Ran fine naturally aspirated too. Best ever actually. So any other ideas anybody?

bet its your FPSS, do you have it wired to cut the n20 noid off only? Could be shutting the n20 off and not the fuel which would make it waaaay fat. Test your FPSS, bet thats the prob. IMO

HOLD UP! I just read a thread on one of my vette forums and somone just had a prob with the solenoid opening then slowly closing down after time. I would check that first or borrow another solenoid before ya dropped the cash on a fuel pump. Hope this helps.

Thumbs up

I had the same problem, but only when the bottle was fresh, totally full...I think it had air in it or somthing (I purged it) after about 5 times trying to spray it, It ran fine on the juice...this has happened twice now.

Also, check to be sure both solenoids are opening, not just the fuel...this has also happened to me (bad connection)

Good luck,
