Can I run nitrous with my car without BOOM?
Can I run nitrous with my car without BOOM?
Hey there...
With the mods I have, can I hook up a nitrous system without changing out fuel pumps, injectors etc and still have it be reliable and safe?
Wouldn't mind having another 75-100 hp on tap for the track -- if it isn't too much work and I won't join the Boom B!tch club...lol. I need this engine to last 2 years while I save for my 409
Any suggestions for a N2O n00b would be great!

You could but remember it's just a matter of time before something happens.
I would use every safety precaution you can....if you don't want to take the time to swap your intank pump, why not just get an inline pump to ease your mind a bit.
You probably won't be taxing anything running such a small shot but IMO every piece of added insurance is helpful.

Never thought of an inline pump...that may be a good solution.
Any advise on a N20 starter kit for a 75 or 100 shot in these circumstances?
I am also a tad confused on how it would work... does it only "come on" during certain gears or is it feeding the engine through my whole run? Hope I don't miss a gear if it is...lol.

Traditionally people run full throttle switches with an activation button. When the throttle is wide open is the only time the nitrous will be activated only if the activation button in the car is turned on. if you let off the throttle to shift, the nitrous will turn off until you get back on the throttle again. hope this helps a little.
