I have a NX kit, but I would have to order it from some place when I could just pic up a NOS one from one of the parts stores here on the Island. But do I need the "Blow-off Cap" as well? How does It hook up??

The NOS one would not work very well it is a 90 degree and belive you need a 180 degre to fit the NX bottle.

OK, got it. It's best to get the NX one. But do I need to get the Blow-off cap?

Ok, I need the NX tube. Do I need to get the Blow-off Cap for the tube to work, or will the bottle just blow up in the trunk???

Yes, you will need the Blow Off Valve. This is what it looks link: http://jody.dltechnologies.com/share...owOffValve.jpg

The tube that came with my Gen II kit was short, so I went to the local hardware store and purchased 3ft. of 1/2" aluminum tubing. Custom bent it to fit in the truck and out the rubber grommet on the bottom of the spare tire area. I used the same fittings from the original tube and used a flaring tool to flare out the ends and that's it. Total cost was $6 for the tubing.

Hope this helps.

You need to change the the blowoff cap so you can attach the blowoff tube. Don't forget to change the Pressure Relief Disc.

Don't overtighten that fitting when you put the new one on. It will damage and weaken the disc. Also make sure the bottle is completely empty before changing them out.

Z28ROC good point. I see alot of saftey disca blow becuase they are over tightened. We usually recomend hand tigh then 1/8 turn. Then if it leaks tighten till it stops leaking and you're done.
