Biggest Shot

Whats the biggest shot I can run on the stock fuel system through a wet kit. I'm running a 100 shot right now and I'd like to bump it up to a 150 shot, but I don't think the fuel pump will support it, am I correct? If in fact I do need a bigger fuel pump, where can I go to get one?

you can go 150 with stock fuel pump, i fact you dond't need nothing to go 150 maybe you want 2 step colder spark plugs(104's)

Re: Biggest Shot

I ran a 175 shot then a 200 on the stock 120,xxx mile pump. Never went lean with no timing pulled. the pump handled it fine. I am not going to say I wasn't pushing the limits but hey, you asked for the biggest

Re: Biggest Shot

I personally would never run anything over a 100 shot on a stock fuel pump, the risk isn't worth it.

It's not really a risk if you take the precautions necessary...like a FPSS.
