Best Nitrous system for my car?
I'm seriously thinking of adding nitrous to my 97SS; the engine is mostly stock with the few add-ons in my sig. What 75-125hp system would be the best/easiest to install? I may add a cam and roller rockers also.
Just looking to add a little bling-bling to the motor....

Whatever dry kit, most are adjustable from 75-150hp that come with the smaller powershot silinoids. If you want to spray more then that with the stock fuel system and all i would get a bigger wet kit, and jump up to larger silinoids. I think TNT and NX make the best wet kits, i have a tnt f2 kit and love it. NOS has the best dry kits but thats just my opinion, i had the 5177 nos dry kit and ran 11.40s to 11.50s with it all stock..
If your new to nitrous i would get a dry kit, they are alot more forgiveing and idiot proof then wet kits. And our cars can handle a 150 shot fine no matter if its wet or dry.
You have to follow the rule book alot more close. It can back fire and mess stuff up if you dont spray with enough PSI becaus it wont get the proper nitrous and fuel mixture or if you dont spray in the right rpm range which is easy for someone to slip and let happen.

A safe nitrous kit is what you make of it. both wet and dry are safe as long as you follow the steps to make it that way.
I did all the research and decided on the NX EFI wet kit. I liked the fact that they have a lifetime warranty on the noids. and their customer support was great. if you are serious give nitro dave a call he sells both wet and dry and carries a couple of brands, also try dynotune they too have some nice stuff.
what ever you decide just do the research and don't scimp on the safety stuff: fuel press safety switch, window switch.

Give me a few reasons why the NX kit is the way to go.
1. The fuel is supplied with the nitrous ( no need to rely on the injectors to do a job they were not designed to do)
2. The mixture is more complete with our wet kit. A dry system does not mix with the fuel until much farther down track, and is relying on the air velocity and turbulance to do the mixing.
3. Hits harder and will run faster. All things being equal same nitrous pill being used, a wet kit will make more torque and the car will run a fast et.
4. If using the MAF kit, it just looks cool.
5. We give a complete jet chart and rate our power levels to the ground.
6. Warranty; Lifetime on solenoids, and 1 year on any electricaly part. exp. tps switches, delay boxes, etc. (exculde coil burn out)
7. You can call us and talk to tech quickly.

Re: Best Nitrous system for my car?
I have had both and liked my dry kit alot for simplicity but really made bigger power with m NX wet kit! I would run a dry kit for up to 125hp or so but they are more expensive and only have one solenoid for the N.O.S. kit so you are better off just getting an NX kit for cheaper with the abilty to make more power. Of course I just made my own kit at first with some old N.O.S. parts I had around the shop. Yet I still wanted a better system so I chose NX and I have enough power to go 9's@135+mph with (200HP NX) just haven't been able to put it to the ground yet. Good luck Later Clint

nitrous express is the safest, well tested system on the market they do more r&d work than the other companies combined.they give you true RWHP numbers, this is only my opinion...............
