What are your guys view on the best cam for my set up out of these 3?
1. CC305- 220 / 230, .510 / .510 114 LSA
2. Extreme- 224 / 230, .502 / .510 112 LSA
3. Extreme- 230 / 236, .510 / .520 112 LSA

Im liking the 3rd one but im not sure if thats too agrresive. The second one looks good though because the duration is strong and so is the lift. Ive also heard the CC305 and it sounds pretty good but would the 114LSA be worse then the 112?
What do you guys think, Your input is appreciated. Also if you can think of any better cams go ahead and list them.

This might interest you.

How often do you use the nitrous. Unless you use it daily, I would not sacrifice NA power by getting a nitrous cam as suggested in the thread in the LT1 tech section. Have you called any speed shops in your area to see what they think?

No im not going to be using the nitrous a lot. I talked to a guy at thunder racing and he said any of these 3 would be good. He said the CC306 would be too aggresive. What about the lt4 hotcam it gives good lift #'s but theres also a loss in duration.

Are you going to port your heads?

I would do...

yes - 230/236
no - 224/230

If you are going to port your heads, email me at. I have a perfact cam recomendation for you there. Better than above IMO. Our cars are very similar, A4, 3.73, etc...

None of those cams are nitrous cam. Go with the 230/236, the xe grinds are very streetable and make good low end torque for the amount of duration they have.
