Bad Nitrous???

Hey Guys,

I am trying to figure my TNT kit out...

I installed it at the end of last year and when I sprayed it the car sputtered and popped...like I said it was the end of the summer right before I went to school, so I didn't get to work on it.

Last week I tried spraying it just for the hell of it and there was nothing but a little nudge...I've had nitrous for a long time and this was no nitrous hit, and if it was it wasn't more than a 5 shot!

So tonight I have been playing with it.....

Nitrous gets to the purge, which is right before the nitrous solenoid, so that is working.

I checked all wiring, and everything is good, both solenoids click.

So I have narrowed it down to: (these are all just guesses)

-a bad window switch
-the solenoids click, but maybe not opening all the way???
-bad nitrous?!?!?! (can this happen? that might explain why the symptoms of the problem changed after the car sat for 6 months)

So I guess I can try a different window switch, and see if someone else has another bottle of nitrous...other than that I've got no idea.

Is it possible that I have been racking my brain because of bad nitrous? If so I will be PISSED!

I guess we'll see, but I jsut wanted to hear some others opinions.

Let me know what you think.

Thanks,
Eric

Well hold on a sec, Did you say the purge is right before the nitrous solenoid. Thats not how its supposed to be. The purge should be attached to the nitrous solenoid on the other side. That way you can purge the line and all the air out. If your purge is before the solenoid, you would have to be purging and hitting the juice at the same time for it too work. Something you may wanna check out. Also check all your jet sizes make sure they are correct.

I may be wrong, I looked at your pics and that looks fine. I thought you had the purge threaded into the solenoid. Sorry for the confusion
