Post Any downside to N2O?

Well, the subject explains it all. I just put a brand new 350 tpi into my 86 Z28. I was considering puting nitrous on it, but am hesistant b/c i do not know all that much about it. Are there any downsides to using nitrous? I mean, do i run the risk of blowing my engine, or am i looking at increased engine wear? Im just trying to find out what im gettin into. thanks for your help.

Wink

Sure there's always a chance that something could go wrong. Which could result in costly engine damage.
But If you do your homework, and take all the precautions. Nitrous can be safe, reliable and a hell of a lot of fun!
