Am I ready for NOS?

Am I ready for NOS? Mods are below....can I just throw in the bottle or do I need to change stuff (besides suspension)?

I'd say bolt it on up, as long as that's what you want. If you're gonna go spray, then looks like you are ready.

I'd say get some Sub-Frame Connectors and start with the 75 jets and work your way up.

Besides the basic nitrous kit you will also require:
Change plugs to one set colder and non-platinum. Most use the NGK TR6 plugs - Napa part# 4177
Low fuel pressure safety switch - AKA hobbs switch
Window switch
Adjustable Retard switch
MSD or any equivilant multispark ignition box (I use the Mallory 585 as it has a built in window switch, 2 stage rev limiter and adjustable nitrous retard)

If you use a dry kit like NOS 5176 I would also suggest a high flow fuel pump like Walbro 340.

And...this is why I don't run Nos yet...lol.

Hey...doesn't the MSD 6+ Digital have the adjustable retard built in? If so, that's the better deal for $300 as opposed to buying another box for $200 and adding the retard.

Where is a good place to pick up that NOS kit? I think the window switch comes with it....

Nos Brand from Holley Performance is obviously going to cost more wherever you go. I think the NX kits may be a hair cheaper, but not enough to go out of you way about.

I hear good things about the TNT system, www.thunderracing.com has it right now, decent price...bout a $100 less than NOS.

TNT's Wet Kit Includes:
Aluminum Plate with two stainless nozzles
Stainless N20 and fuel solenoids
Solenoid brackets with screws
Jets
Stainless braided hoses for all connections
Nitrous filter and stainless connector
N20 bottle pressure guage
Bottle nut
17ft N20 Line
Stainless bottle brackets
All necessary wire and electrical connectors
Microswitch and bracket
10 pound Powdercoated aluminum bottle with N.H.R.A. required blow off cap
N.H.R.A. required blow down tube

its a very popular brand.

The mallory 685 has everything you need for nitrous retard, adjustable window switch and dual stage rev limiter.
It's approximately $225.00 out there. That's about $150 less than everyone else's boxes to become comparably equiped.

the TNT is a pretty decent kit as well...

As for the NX kit...

www.Tbyrnemotorsports.com has good prices and i think they have a 10% off discount on everything that ends at the end of this month, so u might wanna check that out real quick.

www.ls1speed.com is good ( and they price match) thats where i go for everything and they are local hehe)

www.thunderracing.com , www.summittracing, www.jegs.com, www.ebay.com has them

and the For Sale section is crawling with them as well. Just depends if u want new or used? i wanted all new,so i didnt want to take any chances, although used kits as long as u test the soliniods are perfectly fine too...

NX Express Kit

NX sells a kit where you don't need to retard the timing and it sells for about $575.
