Accidentally Ordered a 125 shot...

Alright, I screwed up my order on Summit and an going racing regardless, but depending on the answers from this board determines whether I am going to be getting N20 times, or just N/A times.

I accidentally ordered a .057 and a .035 jet so I would be running a 125 shot. I NEEDED a .052 jet, but I refuse to pay $15 ($5.95 then $9.50 shipping) and the smiple fact is that it won't get here by the time I go racing.

SOOOO....here is my setup:

NGK TR-6 plugs...
NX FPSS
Bottle Heater
WOT switch
Window set from 2800-5500
Stocker fuel pump with 70K on it, and I do have an electronic fuel pressure gauge inside my car to monitor, but I know it prolly won't help out at the track.
3 or 4* of timing was pulled (but let's say 3) and the spark advance was tuned out on my PCM. (it is the 100 shot PCM4less tune...)

IS 125 SHOT SAFE FOR THIS?!??!

You look good to go, you may want to upgrade to a Mallory box or something similar in the future so you can pull timing only when you spray. That way when you run N/A, you will not have to sacrifice power.

Re: Accidentally Ordered a 125 shot...

Don't worry I sprayed 150HP with a Hotcam/stock LT1 and ran 11's with no problems. My fuel system currently that went 9's only consists of sock intank with a NOS 255 inline with adj reg for fine tuning. I have a FP gauge on the cowl of my car (under the 4" VFN hood) to keep an eye on things. I am putting a N2o fuel cell for the dual stage 150/150 I plan on running soon. Later Clint Later Clint

Re: Accidentally Ordered a 125 shot...

Thanks you guys!! Can't wait for the times!!

I DO have a stock rear end and am not planning on spraying off the line. I don't have slicks, but my tires are fairly new 275's....

Should I just lock-out first gear (it's a M6)???

Wouldn't some drag radials just rip my rear end to pieces? Or would launching with slicks but WIHTOUT nitrous help out?

launch on DR's without nitrous. lay into the nitrous once you hook

Crazy, I haven't even shot the N20 yet, so I will reset it. Does it just cause the motor to bog down or is there a more detrimental effect?

Re: Accidentally Ordered a 125 shot...

thats alot of compression at low rpms... you could go BOOOOOM, under 3k rpms if u spray enough. Specially trq also, may even break something else besides ur motor.
