A4 and Nitrous ?
A4 and Nitrous ?
How does the A4 stand up to Nitrous? I have heard the the torque converter may "balloon"? I am thinking of a 100 shot or so but am concerned about the longevity of my transmission. I did a search and cant figure out how a i will get the nitrous to stop before a shift if your window is set a 5600 rpm or so and then if it shifts once the rpms drop wont it let the gas come back on? I dont get it? Sorry for the stupid ?'s
The idea on a stock a4 trans is not to shift while spraying. So if your shift point is at 5700(stock most years)you set your window switch for 5500.the no2 stops spraying at 5500 and your car shifts safely at 5700.

so when it shifts, as the rpm's come down, it will "hit" again but wont it hit before it fully shifts or is there a delay? I am very sorry but I still dont get it fully...
