860 heated brackets questions

is the heater polar or does it not matter what is ground and what is power?

also, what is the draw this thing takes. i need to know if ill be good to splice into the power from the arming switch or if i need a thicker gauge wire.

BTW, im running it off a toggle switch with no sensor or anything, its not automatic.

I would use a dedicated 12g min wire to run power to the heater...the two wires are not "polar".

The heater draws 240w....it has lower draw due to the better heat transfer properties of the aluminum plate.
