Question 6sp nos guys in here!!!

ok i got a 6sp and i am hooking up a NOS dry kit. i am got to have a msd window switched hooked upto it to turn it on and off. and i need to order the pills to go in it. so at what rpm do you guys turn the NOS on and turn it off at. i got 1.6rr new springs and high tech push rods. so i will probably shifting at 5800. unless u guys have any other sugestions. thanks

I'd set them from 3k to 6k as long as you have your revlimiter raised.

most ppl with stiks have wot switch

wouldn't it be easier with a wot switch. how many rpm's do i need to shut it off before i shift.

ya wot switch is the best way to go for stiks

I have my window switch set to come on at 3K and turn off 100 RPM before my shift point. Since I shift at 6500 RPM my high side window pill is a 6400 RPM pill.

I also run a WOT and a micro-switch on my clutch in sequence. that way if I lift, short shift or power shift, the spray is turned off during the gear change.

For those that only mentioned running a WOT switch, it is not a good idea to leave out the window switch. If you happen to bog on the launch and drop below 3K RPM you want to make sure you N2O stays off. No one likes a N2O back fire

what do you guys think i could be safe shifting at. i got crane 1.6 roller rockers crane dual valve springs and crane cromoly pushrods. so whats a safe shift point?
