I was reading in my new gm high performance tech magazine, and they put lightly ported 4.8L heads and a cam in an ls-1 to get 428 rwhp. I know that this power is also coming from the higher compression ratio because of the smaller combustion chamber. However, if one was to do this, how much juice could you spray with a stock 2001 ls-1 bottom end? right now i spray 125. Would this still be safe?
