It would be risky on the stock fuel system since it is already 11 years old. I would upgrade the fuel system, maybe with a Racetronix system, retard the timing 4-6 degrees and then go for it.

i wouldnt do it at all thats a lot of juice for a stock motor but if your going to do it regardless id definitly retard the motor about 8-10 degrees following the 2 degrees for every 50 horse. but 10 you would actually probably gaina little extra ive always noticed takigna little extra out has always improved my track times.

Some people have pulled it off, correct timing and the proper amount of fuel is crucial. Thats a tad to risky for me though, personally I wouldn't go over a 150 shot.

at the very least, you should run a racetronix fuel pump settup, retard the timing, and run some tr6 plugs.
do you want to spend $300-$400 on safey items, or $2500+ on a new bottom end?

also.....a nitrous rule of thumb....
never spray more than half the engines n/a horsepower !!!!
EX: 300 LT1 norm aspir power = 150 nitrous shot MAX.

i wouldnt be suprised if a well tuned 150 shot would produce more power than how your goona have to tune that 200 shot to be reliable. with this i mean youll end up pulling more power out of the motor trying to compensate for the heavy shot (i.e. adding tons of fuel and etc) when you could make similar or more power on a 150shot.

hmmmm... i wouldnt... i spray a 250 shot but i have a 355 built built for spray, racetronix fuel system, ect... and i still cringe everytime i hit the 2nd stage.

i just did a 250shot on a stock motor, fuel, and and no timing pulled. did fine went 5 1/8 mile passes and took me from running 9.1 to 8.24 1/8et at 88.2mph on street tires. i do have 1 stage colder plugs and it was on 93 pumpgas
