150shot ?'s

With the right plugs and fuel setup, should a 150 shot (wet) be safe on my mostly stock engine?

Has it been done..yes ive heard people spraying 175hp shots on a stock lt1. Is it safe..IMO not exactly. Your going to want to go a compression test, fp test, and while your at it a leak down test of the motor. For supporting mods, fpss, upgraded ignition(window switch, ability to retard timing), purge, bottle heater, colder plugs, upgraded fuel pump. The Fpss will save your motor if the fp drops, definately one of the most important supporting mods for the nitrous user.

You could always do a compression and leak down test on your engine to make sure it is healthy. If everything checks out, and as long as you adhere to the safety mods as suggested above, you should be fine. Plenty of people are spraying that size shot on their stock LT1s.
