I'm running 150 on my lt1, somebody runing more that 150 on stock engine?

I ran a 175 shot for 1.5 years and upped it to a 200 shot for 9 months

200 did you used retard, race fuel or something?
why 9 months, it's that what your engine last?
did you felt a huge diference betwen 150 and 200?

no retard no race fuel. NGK TR6's gapped at 35. I was in colorado and I wanted to see how fast she would go. My motor is fine, leaks oil out of every seal but it still runs fine. I did notice a big difference between the 150 and the 200. I took it off because I wrecked my car at the track, so I pulled the motor sent it to get the body work, paint work done and sold my nx kit. I have a direct port lt-4 intake for the new motor. 200 is doable, and I did it on a stock rear end, on dr's

cool, i'm going to ty it next week i will let you know my time reduction with the 50 increment, actualy im runing 13.06, hope to be on 12 highs

i did a 200 shot for quite a while on a stock shortblock. had ~11.2:1 compression, already making 425rwhp before the nitrous, 92 octane, and no timing being pulled. no problems other than when i decided to give it hell one night since i had a full bottle i needed to empty and i didnt care about the motor.

as always, just dont screw up your tune or max out your fuel supply and youll be fine. also dont spray for much more than ~ the equivelant of a 1/4 mile run at a time without a break or the rings can expand and butt together since the stock LT1 ring gap isnt as wide as needed for extended nitrous use with a large shot. if the rings ends touch youll break the ring lands. fwiw took me about 4 runs on the street back to back in a row non-stop to make that happen on a 200 shot. broke all 3 lands

You ran 13.1 while spraying a 150 shot ?

stock with a 150 shot should get at least low 12's unless you aren't at sea level

yes 13.06 with 150 shot and 4.11 rear on BF drag radials, maybe it's a lot of time but i have seen that the tiimes change a lot on diferent tracks, almost .5 of seconds! so i dont care much the time if i can see the mustang with my rear view mirror
