I blew a disk about 3 weeks ago and it was under 100 outside.

If you like having a time bomb in your car, by all means leave it in the car. I have also seen pictures of cars with serious damage inflicted when a bottle blew up. My next question would be, do you have a blow down tube venting outside of your car? If you were not aware of what "too high of pressure would do", you might want to rethink having nitrous in your car, unless you don't mind blowing the **** out of your motor. Just my 2 cents, take it or leave.

Re: 102* outside... bottle in car.. okay?

i had a full bottle in my car all day at work i imagine it poped hours before i got in to leave. I opened the bottle and got no bottle pressure. I checked the disk and it was blown. Thats all that happened all the windows were closed and i had no idea anything had happend untill i opened the bottle. only damage was a blown disk and a wasted bottle of nitrous. It is and nx bottle. i have my own refill tank so i freeze my bottles to refill them i dont know if the constant change weekend the disk i guess it is a possibility.

If I remember correct it was the owners fault and he tried to blame NX. He intalled 2 burst disks(because one kept popping) and left the heater on with no thermal switch. Makes for nice carnage.

The bottle is fine i just had to replace the disk i got a new one from an NX dealer. it was 3 or 4 bucks not big deal you just unscrew the fitting on the valve that holds it. If I was in the car i might have been a diffrent story. But the way it happend it was just a $30 learing experince.
