Post 100hp shot in 1st gear past 3k rpm?

Has anyone here been able to successfully shoot 100hp n20 in 1st gear past 3k rpm without losing complete traction? Tips?

You mean sticking with the drag radials, or are slicks allowed in your plan? With ET Streets it's certainly possible.

Yep..It's possible. I do it every day on my street tires. They are Yokohamas. I get minimal spin the whole time in first and about half of second. I dont think its slowing me down any cause I absolutely destroy everyone around here in first gear with a 100 shot. Of course, if you have drag radials or slicks then that will always be better then street tires.

Oops..I forgot to mention that I usually spray at about 2700rpm in first. Maybe you spin the tires alot cause your hitting it while you are already at peak touque...not a bad thing..

ET Streets or ET Drags should do the trick.

I can hit it in first gear at 2500 rpms - lets just say its interesting

However at the track - I hit it in first gear with the slicks - NO traction problems at all. Just goes!
