Mods are below.....with DRs in the rear and a 100 shot, what should I run in the 1/4?

12.5 is the worst u can do

i always like to give the low end.....the best u will do is prob a 12.1

 

Well what do u run N/A?? that would help a lot in determining what u might run with a 100 shot.

 

on DRs, my friend went 13.2 @ 106 with only shorty headers (worst headers u can get) .. so with a hot cam .. i would say a 12.6 @ 111 EASY .. + 100 shot ur in the 11s buddy ...

 

I'm running a 75 shot on mine a took around a second off my 1/4. If that helps any

You should run 11's pretty easily if and only if your clutch holds and you can get out of the hole (good tires) with the n2o on. Hey I run 12.80's with street tires 95% stock (paper air filter!). If you don't run 11's something is wrong!

 

94 Z28 .. stick .. 16" BFG drs .. mods: edelbrock headers, CAI .. thats IT .. zero suspension mods... oh yeah .. and some tuning by me (the tuning got him 0.1 and 1 mph)

 

13.2 with headers and DR's?! That sounds awfully quick did he buy the car new? Maybe the car had been modded by the previous owner. 106 MPH is roughly a 50 HP increase over stock.

If you looked carefully, He was asking sideways-into-3rd, in regards to sideways friend. Next time think before you talk. I think stik is PITA sometimes and him and his stik crew are ridicoulus, but unfounded accusations/flaming do nothing productive.

 

Do people with 3000+ posts care about their count?

Anyways I haven't raced at all. When I do this spring it'll be with regular tires. No stickys cuz I don't have money for a new rear. So my 60' will suck....However my suspension will be pretty good (STB, LCAs, SFC and PHB)....
