100 shot w/out mods?

Can I use a 100 wet shot w/out changing the plugs or adjusting the timing? I just installed a kit on my LT1 fiero and dont have the nozzle for the 75 jet. Thanks.

As long as your not running platinum tip plugs. Platium plugs with N20 is a no no. With a 100 shot I would still go to a colder plug.

Definately change to a colder plug. 90% of the Nitrous guys run the NGK TR6's.

I chaged the plugs to the ngks but I have no timing adjustment. There only like $.88 a piece at hires. I'm gonna run a 100 shot tomorrow for the first time.

I love misinformed people.

Your $h!t won't pop/bang/boom with the stock plugs.

I ran my car with the stock plugs and a 150 wet shot for 1.5yrs and drove them damn thing to work every day.

You certainly don't have to worry about anything with a 100shot making ONE pass down the 1320...

I've only had experience with n2o with 4 different cars. I went with tr6's the first time i sprayed and had no problem, 5 bottles of 150shot later still no problems. My three buddies didn't change em, and they popped a whole lot on the first time, all with 75 shots. Maybe they had hotter plugs than stock and didn't know it, but I would recommend changing them before you spray, just save yourself the possible regret. Joe Nobody from cz28.com that says 'just spray it, it won't hurt' isn't gonna pay for your car when something goes wrong. I'm currently running autolite 103's since the heads/cam and upping the shot past 150. They seem to work fine both na and on a lot of juice.

Yea, and I've only been F'ing with cars for the last 6yrs, was a mechanic at a GM dealership, etc...

Just because Joe Nobody on Z28.com says his buddies who don't know wtf they're doing says you should spend 500 bucks in "safety" nets doesn't mean you have to. Joe Nobody is not going to pay for your new parts, NOR is he going to volunteer to do the 6hr plug job on a LT1.

If you're not sure what plugs are in there, then sure, get new ones. But if you know they've never been changed (are stock), I wouldn't worry about it unless you've got 150k+. Since this guy obviously did a SWAP into a Fierro, I'm sure he at least knows what's in there, and if he was smart, would have changed them while everything was apart.

Just trying to help you not have to do any more work than you need to

if you can't afford $12 worth of spark plugs, you have no business playing with nitrous.

The high end plugs that most guys talk of on here run 3-4ea. No, 30-40 dollars isn't a lot, but it's 30-40 bucks he could keep in his pocket. Also there's that 6hr change out time I was mentioning...

better to be safe than sorry.

my autolite racing plugs were only 2.14 ea, and that is a whole lot less expensive than a valve, or a piston.
